A newly developed self-constraining clamp drill is being used, enabling head replacement on the machine. Tool dimension does not need to be adjusted and duration of stoppage is short, which significantly improves machine operating rate.
A new design enables stable processing for the cutting power to increase the grasping power of the head.
High rake is enabled, and appropriate amount of internal coolant is supplied from the coolant hole at the tip of the holder. Appropriate amount of cutting oil is supplied to the blade edge, leading to long tool life, chip discharge with good cutting surface, and improved processing hole precision.
