- The glass tube is coated with heat resistant synthetic resin coating (polyester tube). Even if the lamp breaks due to external force, broken glass pieces or fluorescent substance do not scatter very much for hazard prevention.
- The light near the 365nm wavelength which insects feel most strongly is blocked. Insects do not come by as much compared to a lamp without coating (comparison made with company products).
